Art Exhibitions Curator & Gallery Director

As a Curator and Gallery Director, I develop exhibition themes, call for submissions and submission guidelines. The selection process may vary depending on the context, scale, and resources available for the exhibition. I have the flexibility to adapt and modify the process to suit my specific vision and goals for the exhibition. Once artist selection has been completed, I coordinate with artists to communicate and manage all of the logistical details. These include planning the layout of the exhibition, considering how the artworks would be displayed in relation to one another as well as in relation to the visitor experience. My goal is to create a cohesive visual experience that highlights the theme and allows the artworks to complement and resonate with each other.

As You See It | Palette Gallery

As You See It is an exhibition featuring the artwork of Bay Area artists Juliette Choné and Kelley O’Leary. This collection of work explores the concept of human perception and our visual digestion of the world around us, posing questions related to self-awareness and blurred boundaries, as influenced by culture, society and our environment.

Spell of the Senses | Root Division

Presented in conjunction with TASTE 2021: SIP+SENSE, Root Division's annual culinary event, Spell of the Senses will feature artists whose work focuses on the activation of one or more of the five major physical inputs: touch, sight, sound, smell, and taste. Senses act as the first layer of perception and connection to our environment and to one another. Works presented will include a range of materiality and sensory activations to re-imagine the senses as they inform how we understand our own realities.

Curated by Jasmin Bode and Michelle Mansour, this group exhibition will include artists that incorporate activation and sensory experiences as a key element of their creative process. Works on view range playfully from mouth watering, yet unattainable, ceramic Pinoy snacks by Reniel del Rosario, interactive olfactory-centered sculptures by Catherine Haley Epstein, and 2-D works that dazzle the eye with their explorations of color and perception by Blanca Estela Rodríguez.

Seattle Restored | LoCA

Seattle Restored revives Seattle neighborhoods with creativity and commerce! Seattle Restored calls our local artists and entrepreneurs to reinvigorate our city by activating empty storefronts. These projects benefit neighborhoods, small businesses, artists and property owners by creating vibrant and engaging streetscapes that encourage the public to visit downtown Seattle, support local businesses and support local artists – particularly Black, Indigenous, and other entrepreneurs and artists of color. This program was initially funded by the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (CLFR) established under the American Rescue Plan. As of October 2022, it is funded through City of Seattle general fund.
